Gravity Curve Inversion Table with ergonomic design

“Purchased the One Touch Curve Gravity Inversion Table last week – received it promptly in 2 days (even with bad weather in transit route – snow/ice). It was very well packaged to withstand shipping dings. The assembly instructions were clear and easy to follow. All parts were there and in perfect condition including the tools needed to assemble. As a mid-age female with a bad back, I had no issues assembling this by myself and it was unboxed, assembled and ready to use in about two hours. An extra set of hands would have helped and made it go faster but I took my time, followed the directions, and it went fine even without assistance. The seller also included a free yoga ball with foot pump as an added bonus – it was pictured as yellow but the ball in the box was a bright blue and looks great. I have not actually pumped it up and used it yet.

a

I’ve just used the inversion table a few times over the past couple of days and it works perfectly. It snowed here and I used it before and after shoveling and noticed a difference in my back (hubby was away so I had to shovel which is an activity I’ve largely avoided for several years running due to back issues). My 20 something children visited today and tried it out and are planning to order the same unit. This is the Inversion Table to buy if you’ve been putting it off forever like I did. I had a Doc tell me to do this years ago and I couldn’t decide on what to buy, whether price really made a quality difference. The only regret I have now is that I didn’t do it sooner as I have spent THOUSANDS on physical therapy, chiropractic, message, electric stim, cortisone injections, and other treatments in the meantime. As for the quality – I’m very picky and very risk adverse, so I wanted sturdy, safe, and well made at a good value. This is it! It is very sturdy, well made and safe at the best price going….a quick online comparison will demonstrate that. There is no need to spend $500, $400, $300…for other name brand models like Teeter, Weider, et al. This one does the same exact thing they do with the same quality but at a much better price. I searched for years to finally make this purchase…yeah, I know, how pathetic is that! BUT hopefully this review will help you take a chance to help yourself.

The instruction booklet is accurate and helpful (instructions for use and assembly are both included in a little booklet). As for the unit itself, it is sturdy but moveable for a petite older female in not the best condition due to the back issues. I keep it next to the wall and pull it away from the wall for use without any issue or discomfort. The back and head pads are comfortable. The handles are a must and are made of a good material for gripping while going back or coming back up from the inverted position. Unless you’re in very good physical condition to begin with, I would not recommend inversion tables without handles (though going back is easier with arms over head, to come back up slowly to allow the blood to flow back from the head, it’s helpful to have the handles). The ankles supports are sturdy and cushioned for comfort. And it is fully adjustable to accommodate different heights. We quickly adjusted the height from 5′2 set for me, to 6′1 for my son, to 5′3 for his girlfriend, back to 6′1 for my son because he loved it so much, back to the setting for me so quickly, easily and securely. I just can’t see how anyone could go wrong with this unit. I tried out the $399 Teeter Hang up at the local fitness store and I just cannot tell the difference in functionality, safety, sturdiness, or quality…just in the extra cost!

Only time will tell if this is THE solution I’ve been looking for to fix my back issues but so far, so good. The initial days of use is getting used to being upside, remembering to just relax, breathe, unwind and refresh. I am very pleased with this purchase.”
- Jules (Washington DC)

“I read reviews on Amazon and found this item. What sold me was the comments about having easy to read directions. I use it almost daily and love it! I drive 1 1/2 hours to work each way and coming home to a good stretch on this makes my day complete. Just start slowly and use the safety strap for a while.”
- Daniel R. Nelson (Maryland)

“Just got the OneTouch inversion table and LOVE it. Easy to set up- and use. I like the way it folds up and can be slid under our bed when not in use. Solid product… great deal!

Even came with extra ankle pads so I do not need to try and find replacements down the road! The free Yoga ball and pump were a nice thought… and actually work well with the type of back manipulations I am working on.
- Thanks! Deb

“MY BROTHER loved it!!!! Thank you so much!!! He uses it ALL the time!!”

Benefits of Inversion Therapy Tables

Regular use of an inversion table can reduce back pain.

Regular use of an inversion table can reduce back pain.

The constant pull of gravity is a powerful force on your body that can take its toll over time. Inversion therapy is a safe and natural way to reverse the effects of gravity on the body by providing benefits such as relief from back pain, increased circulation, and reduced stress and tension.

a

The use of a gravity inversion table relieves pressure on the spinal discs by reversing the downward force of gravity and allowing the spine to lengthen. Inversion therapy also provides a full-body stretch that increases flexibility and range of motion. Stretching has long been used to relieve stress and promote an overall sense of well-being, and the full-body stretch that a gravity inversion table provides is a proven method of stress relief for the mind and body.

An inversion table allows you to safely rotate your body to the angle that feels comfortable for you. Inversion produces a natural, gentle stretching of the spine that offers relief from chronic pain and can help reduce the loss of height caused by the effects of gravity.

The regular use of inversion therapy provides multiple health benefits, including the following:

  • Reduces back pain
  • Improves posture
  • Relieves stress and tension
  • Increases circulation
  • Restores height lost through aging
  • Increases oxygen flow to the brain
  • Fights cellulite
  • Reduces hair loss
  • Relieves varicose veins

Will inversion therapy work for me?

A considerable number of people who suffer from back pain, nerve pain, and other discomfort have reported significant relief from their pain through regular use of inversion therapy. The only way you can find out if inversion therapy will work for you is to give it a try.

a

What types of inversion tables are available?

Several different models of inversion tables are available on the market today, including seated inversion chairs, ergonomic inversion tables, and models that easily fold into a compact size for storage. Some tables invert less than 180 degrees. Other tables invert slightly past 180 degrees and temporarily “lock” upside down to allow for inverted exercises and stretching.

a

Which is the best inversion table?

Which model is right for you depends on your needs and preferences. Make sure the inversion table will accommodate your height and weight. If you plan to incorporate inverted exercises into your inversion routine, make sure the table you purchase includes an automatic holding position for a full inversion.

a

Is inversion therapy safe?

Some health conditions may preclude you from starting an inversion therapy regimen. Before you buy an inversion table, research the contraindications for inversion therapy to see if it is safe for you. If you are unsure whether inversion therapy is safe for you, ask your health practitioner before beginning inversion therapy.

a

Will I receive benefits from inversion without inverting 180 degrees?

Any inverted angle that relieves pressure on the joints and back can be beneficial. As you continue to practice inversion therapy, you may find that a lesser angle of inversion provides just as much relief as a full inversion. The most beneficial angle of inversion will vary from person to person.

a

How quickly can I increase my inversion time?

Increase your time of inversion slowly. Your first inversion session should last no longer than five minutes. Increase your inversion time only as you feel comfortable. If you experience pain, discomfort, disorientation, or dizziness, return to an upright position.
